2nd Annual Betty Cracchiolo Memorial Tournament


Betty Cracchiolo’s family wanted to honor her memory and did so by keeping her love of golf in mind. They began a golf tournament in her memory, giving the proceeds to the organization that served her at the end of her life. At 9:00 A.M. on Friday, October 26, 2007, the tournament started with 138 players golfing, including Steve Large, CBS 13/Good Day Sacramento reporter. In addition to golfing, Large served as Master of Ceremony for the short program following the tournament.

A golf tournament is a major logistical undertaking and the Cracchiolo family and Yolo Fliers Club did an excellent job. The tournament was a success raising $13,000 for Yolo Hospice. Yolo Hospice’s thanks go out to everyone who helped.
