Getting Involved

This is the fifth successful year for the Mexican Open. Begun by the Cueva family and friends, the plan was to celebrate Mexican Independence Day and their love of the game -- it now raises substantial funds for Yolo Hospice.

This year, the tournament was held at Green Tree Golf Course on Saturday, September 16th. Approximately 150 golfers participated in the tournament and about 350 attended the reception and dinner following.

At the reception following the tournament, in addition to the family-catered meal there was entertainment. The entertainment included Raices de Mi Tierra (www.raicesdemitierra.com) a Mexican folklorico dance group and the band "Sonidos Familiar" whose members were family members who came together for this event.

Our congratulations go to the Cueva family and friends for the successful completion of their tournament. Thank you for all your hard work for Yolo Hospice.
